JOB PURPOSE: Ensures the health care centers and other entities are clean and well maintained. To ensure that the Health Care Centers follow state and federal and UHS-Pruitt guidelines. This position is responsible for directing the daily operations of the Environmental Services section of the Facilities Management department. Environmental Services includes both the housekeeping and laundry functions. This position shall be responsible for directing and supervising assigned staff and their function for the UHS-Pruitt campus, in order to maintain a safe, hygienic, and efficient environment for residents, guests, and staff. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines, maintaining/updating environmental policies and procedures manuals in keeping with compliance guidelines, and keeping abreast of any changes to laws and regulations involving the department.
