Entry Level Labourer

Position Overview

Domtar is seeking an Entry Level Labourer for its pulp mill in Skookumchuck, British Columbia, Canada. This is a full‑time permanent position with hourly pay per the 2021‑2025 PPWC Local 15 Labour Agreement ($34.720/hr). The role includes physically demanding labour across the mill, shift rotation, and training relief work.

Responsibilities

• Provide physically demanding labouring work in all areas of the mill.
• Operate mobile equipment for extended periods.
• Remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Work in hot and noisy conditions.
• Maintain good visual perception.
• Perform computer‑based tasks as required.
• Provide vacation and training relief work on a shift rotation (days and nights).

Qualifications

• High school Grade 12 transcript.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence.
• Demonstrated capacity to learn and a history of safe work performance.
