Role Purpose: The Advanced Senior Carer is a senior role within the care team responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people with complex health needs in community settings.

The role combines advanced clinical care skills with leadership, mentoring, and operational support responsibilities. The post holder will act as a role model within the team, supporting carers to maintain high standards of care, ensuring safe clinical practice, and contributing to effective coordination of care services. The Advanced Senior Carer will also act as a bridge between frontline carers and senior management to support consistent communication and service delivery.
