We are seeking an experienced GCSE English tutor to work with a student who has an EHCP.

About the Student

• He is incredibly literal in his understanding and struggles to interpret what exam questions are asking.
• In his last exam, he missed the 40‑mark extended writing question.
• He requires clear, structured, and patient support to help him build confidence and exam technique.

Requirements

• Must have experience supporting students with SEN/ASD.
• Ability to break down exam questions into manageable steps and teach strategies for understanding what is being asked.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on literal and explicit instruction.
• In‑person tuition only.
