Engineering Technician (España)

Job Overview

The engineering technician will work alongside manufacturing engineers, maintenance personnel, toolmakers, and production personnel to implement engineering projects in the plant.

Primary Duties

• Support implementation of machinery replacement projects.
• Develop hands‑on competency in Burndy Littleton’s patented tooling system for progressive metal forming to perform die set‑ups, machine set‑ups, process monitoring, and machine tuning.
• Develop usage of a unique graphical user interface (GUI) timing chart to control servo‑actuated Bihler NC machines.
• Read and interpret production drawings to understand critical product dimensions, their relation to process parameters and tooling dimensions, and assist engineers in new tooling fabrication and implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and operators to troubleshoot issues arising from implementation of the above tasks.
