A JOB PURPOSE
• To plan, develop, maintain and manage the container handling equipment in the terminal as well as the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Electronics & Communications (E&C) works to meet the overall business plans and requirements

B CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• To oversee the development, implementation and review of the terminal’s equipment maintenance policy for all container handling equipment, supporting facilities/equipment, M&E and Electronic & Communication systems to ensure that these are optimally maintained to meet the required service levels.
• To endorse, review and approve all technical specifications and design drawings for container handling equipment and supporting facilities purchases to ensure compliance with user requirements, statutory requirements and codes of practice.
