Engineering Manager

A Mining company in Gauteng is seeking for a suitable candidate who can fill the position of Engineering Manager .

Minimum qualifications:

• An Engineer with Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• OR equivalent recognised qualification:
  • BEng Tech in Mechanical Eng (NQF 7), or
  • BTech in Mechanical Engineering (NQF 7), or
  • Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NQF 7)
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) – Mines
• Legal Appointment in terms of MHSA Section 2.13.1, with demonstrated experience in fulfilling statutory experience

Advantageous:

• BEng Tech Hons (NQF 8)

Professional experience:

• Minimum 10 years post-qualification engineering experience in hard rock, open-pit mining environments, preferably with shallow ore bodies and variable ore characteristics affecting plant performance
