Overview The Engineering Manager — Quality Assurance will lead Valencia’s QA function and drive a standardized, shift-left QA mindset across DKB Code Factory’s teams in Spain and Germany, increasing release confidence and reducing defect leakage. You will combine people leadership with pragmatic enablement—shaping QA standards, coaching engineers, and embedding measurable quality practices into everyday delivery. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop QA engineers while coordinating QA practices and standards across Spain and Germany. Conduct QA maturity assessments, publish baseline KPIs (defect leakage, automated coverage, cycle time), and deliver a prioritized 12-month QA roadmap. Design, publish, and drive adoption of a pragmatic QA playbook (test pyramid, automation strategy, Do R/Do D quality gates) across locations.
