Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, reliability engineers, and technicians.

Set departmental OKRs aligned with plant uptime, safety, and cost reduction goals.

Foster a culture of preventive/predictive maintenance and operational excellence.

2. Engineering & Maintenance Operations

Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and control systems for processing, packaging, utilities (steam, refrigeration, compressed air, water/wastewater) and facilities.

Develop and execute a plant reliability strategy (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).

Manage maintenance management system/CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and spare parts inventory.

3. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with local, national, and food industry regulations:

• OSHA / EHS (lockout/tagout, machine guarding, confined space)
