Job Description

Summary You will serve as a Engineering Equipment Operator for the Western Montana NWR Complex. The primary purpose of this position is to operate gasoline or diesel powered engineering and construction heavy equipment to complete a variety of Service Projects at various locations. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Operate a variety of types of heavy equipment to excavate, backfill, grade, or level earth Heavy equipment may include bulldozers, excavators, road graders, skid steers, backhoes, wheeled and tracked loaders, and specialized equipment. Operates motor vehicles including: tractor trailers, truck and trailer combination, stake trucks, and dump trucks which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of more than 32,000 pounds.
