Engineer

• Administers, monitors and continuously ensures that all operations conform to safety requirements and maintains high safety standards
• Based on defect list given by ship owner, plans, prioritizes and executes repair activity based on available resources and facilities
• Provides information to APM for any CM39 requisition
• Co‑ordinates and disseminates all the repair activities in the repair process in a given schedule with supervisors, yardmen and contractors in accordance to the Department Work Instruction and specifications
• Attends vessel safety co‑ordination meetings to ensure that all repair activities are carried out in a safe environment and meet the applicable statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements
• Attends department production meeting to co‑ordinate work progress, updates work schedules promptly and scope of work
