Job Description

Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Engineer for our Practice in Shanghai, China. In this role you will work as part of a team to perform analysis of materials, mechanical, and electrical failures ranging from consumer products and electronics to complex mechanical systems, as well as conducting hands-on failure analysis and planning and executing laboratory tests and simulations.

You will be responsible for

  • Analyzing the failure of a wide variety of products via field inspections, experimental testing and engineering analysis
  • Developing investigation plans using a variety of analytical equipment
  • Providing failure prevention strategies
  • Conducting manufacturing facility audits/evaluations to help improve quality/reduce reject rates
  • Conducting design reviews on components and products
  • Project management and marketing
