Engineer or Engineer in Training, Geotechnical (Temporary)

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Geological Engineering, you will be an important member of a highly experienced team of geotechnical professionals in EVR’s central Technical Services group. Your responsibilities include supporting safe production at multiple open‑pit steel‑making coal operations in complex ground conditions, conducting investigation and design work for future mining areas, and managing the geotechnical aspects of reclamation and closure work for non‑operating sites.

Location: Calgary, AB or Sparwood, BC.

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Perform technical work on projects within EVR’s central geotechnical team to continuously improve geotechnical practices.
