About the role

As a Mine Engineer you will turn near-term plans into safe, reliable production at Ernest Henry. You will own the weekly plan and rolling 3-month plan, keep designs practical through regular underground checks, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with operators and leaders to remove roadblocks fast.
Key responsibilities include
Leading with safety: applying our health, safety and security standards in every task and decision.

Validating the plan in the field: completing regular underground inspections to confirm status, progress and quality.

Building and presenting plans: coordinating inputs and communicating the weekly and 3-month plans.

Designing for delivery: preparing drill and charge designs to meet targets, including service holes, vent rises and ore-passes.

Managing cave performance: direct drill/charge/fire locations to maintain broken stock.
