Job Description
The position provides engineering support for aircraft and vehicle sustainment technology development and transition including aircraft, vehicle, and ground support equipment maintenance. This role will:
Support design, manufacturing, and test/validation of repair procedures for advanced manufacturing technologies. The ideal candidate will support technicians on material characterization of cold spray and additive manufacturing material deposits used in repair and sustainment of parts for aircraft, vehicle, and ground support equipment. Assist in planning, coordinating, developing, and executing test protocols, experiments, process characterization and process validations on new and revised products and processes. This applicant will be responsible for writing and updating technical data packages for repairs, as well as other required documentation.
