**JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE**

Responsible for performing a wide variety of analysis and project-oriented engineering activities related to ensuring proper device coordination and protection for distribution devices; self-healing networks and other automated transfer schemes; and risk mitigation within the electrical distribution system.

**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Perform protection and coordination studies for new and existing distribution protective devices.
+ Develop settings for new distribution protective devices and other equipment.
+ Provide substation distribution settings recommendations.
+ Develop distribution automation controller settings for self-healing networks.
