£40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a busy industrial manufacturing environment in Barnsley. This is a key role focused on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site equipment through effective planned and reactive maintenance.

You’ll be part of a hands-on engineering team where your expertise will directly contribute to improving equipment uptime, reliability, and overall site performance.



What you’ll be doing

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and machinery

Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults

Reading and working from electrical and mechanical drawings

Maintaining and repairing a range of industrial equipment including:

Overhead cranes and jibs

Plasma and gas cutt...
