**Purpose and Scope:**

Perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse mechanical/electromechanical equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis and/or review team on more complex assignments.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

1) Perform a range of design development, analysis and/or review tasks under some supervision.

2) Ensure safe operations and maintenance of all propellant activities from conceptual design of systems, through procurement, activation, modification , and daily operations and maintenance.

3) Provide technical direction to technicians, inspectors, contractors, and others in the operations, maintenance, repair, re-manufacture, fabrication, troubleshooting, and removal from service of assigned systems and equipment.
