Eng - Lab Technician – Intermediate

Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Eng - Lab Technician – Intermediate for their Austin, TX location. Responsibilities:

+ Enforce and maintain safety compliance, safety standards, 6S and documentation (logbooks, test procedures)

+ Support new system (Main Frame & Factory Interface) installations and new field upgrades

+ Perform complex electro-mechanical functions: design, test, troubleshooting, assembly

+ Handle experimental design circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment

+ Troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical/mechanical issues

+ Must have background in understanding and following Eng. drawings, Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and management of changes (MOC)

+ Ability to build custom cables from sketches or diagrams, including crimping and connector assembly
