Energy Generation Field Service Engineer - Mechanical Core Skill

United Utilities’ Energy Generation team is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer with a strong mechanical core to support the performance of our renewable and low carbon energy assets.

This is a permanent role based in Davyhulme, working a Monday to Friday, 37-hour week.

In this hands‑on position, you will work with large‑scale, high‑performance equipment including spark‑ignition and dual‑fuel engines, combined heat and power (CHP) systems, and associated plant. You will play a key role in ensuring these assets remain safe, efficient, and reliable, directly contributing to sustainable energy production.

This is a varied and engaging role where you will apply your diagnostic thinking and mechanical expertise to operate, maintain, and repair complex energy systems.
