Endoscopy Technician

The Endoscopy Technician supports the physicians, nurses, and anesthesia providers of the GHS Endoscopy Center by assisting with endoscopic procedures, endoscope reprocessing, equipment preparation, room turnover, inventory management, and environmental cleaning. The Endoscopy Technician helps ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with infection prevention standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Procedure Room Support Assists physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures. Prepares procedure rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies before procedures. Assists with specimen collection, labeling, and handling. Assists with patient positioning and transport as directed.
