SUMMARY:
This is skilled work in responding to emergency and non-emergency calls in Douglas County to provide basic and advanced life support and medical care and to transport patients to the appropriate medical facility. Work also involves assessing patients' needs directing medical care and coordinating emergency response with hospital and other public safety personnel. Serves as lead worker to EMTs in assigned work unit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
