Emergency Department Nursing Assistant II

Provides patient care in the ED as delegated by the Licensed Nursing Staff. Performs EKGs and phlebotomy as needed in the department within the scope of the NA II.

Responsibilities:

• Patients and families are served in providing direct patient care services.
• Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner to project a positive image of the department and hospital.
• Insures that contacts with other health care members are friendly helpful and courteous.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of North Carolina Board of Nursing approved Nursing Assistant II course.
• Completes the EKG and phlebotomy on the job ...
