The role supports a collaborative model with Nurse Practitioner assistance during the weekdays, ensuring timely and quality care. Opportunities exist for both long-term and short-term coverage, allowing for flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide single coverage in the Emergency Department
• Assess and treat approximately 40-50 patients nightly
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff
• Manage patient care during weekdays and weekends
• Access a sleep room for shifts as needed
Requirements:
• Active medical license in Ontario
• Required certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• No additional training in Emergency Medicine needed
