Emergency Nurse Practitioner – A&E / Inpatient Services

Mid Argyll Hospital is a community hospital located on the west coast of Scotland. The Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) will work 24 hours a day in the A&E / Inpatient Services department, collaborating closely with local GPs who provide medical cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Nurse for the A&E department and for the hospital during out-of-hours periods and in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.
• Ensure safe and effective clinical practice, manage and develop the performance of the team, and contribute to the delivery of the organisation's objectives.
• Provide acute care in a 15-bed GP acute ward and support busy Outpatient, Rehabilitation, and Daycase services.
