Emergency Nurse Practitioner

The Role

As an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, your duties will include assessing and diagnosing patients with acute and often life-threatening conditions, such as injuries, illnesses, and trauma. You’ll order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and initiate interventions like suturing wounds or stabilising patients in critical condition. You’ll collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to provide rapid and effective care. You’ll also prioritise patient education, ensuring patients and their families understand their conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care requirements. 

You’ll need to use your expertise to make quick decisions and handle a wide range of medical emergencies.
