Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are actively recruiting emergency medicine nurse practitioners and physician assistants for a locum opportunity at a facility in San Antonio. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and will be ongoing for up to 1 year.

• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Shift Details: Physician Hours Monday-Wednesday: 6a-3p, 1p-10p, 9p-6a. Physician Hours Thursday-Sunday: 6a-3p, 2p-11p, 9p-6a.
• APP Hours Monday-Wednesday: 8a-6p, 11a-9p, 3p-1a, 5p-3a. APP Hours Thursday-Sunday: 9a-7p, 12p-10p, 4p-2a
• Annual ED Volume: 35,000 (95 visits/day)
  
• Admission Percentage 17% - Average Physician Patients Per Hour: 1.6
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Requirements:
• Board Certified w/ED Experience
• Active TX license or IMLC
