Job Description

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (part-time or locum options negotiable)
Salary: NZD $180,000 - $300,000, with relocation support and CME leave available

About the Role
Palmerston North Hospital is seeking a vibrant and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join its dynamic and diverse Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will work alongside 11 Emergency Physicians, 3 Clinical Nurse Specialists, and 2 Nurse Practitioners, and will supervise 18 resident medical officers and 6th-year medical students from the University of Otago 
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality emergency care across adult and paediatric presentations
Leading trauma and resuscitation efforts in a busy regional trauma centre
Participating in teaching, supervision, and professional development programs
