Emergency Department Medic (Casual Call, Variable Shift)

Position Summary:

The Emergency Department Medic will deliver safe patient care within his/her scope of practice as defined by hospital regulation and perform a variety of patient-related duties, acting on initiated protocols under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Assist Providers and Registered Nurses in the setup and implementation of patient care while accurately and professionally documenting all patient care.


Minimum Qualifications:

Required

+ Current, unencumbered, Montana Paramedic License

+ American Heart Association BLS certification at time of hire

+ American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certifications within four (4) months of hire

+ One (1) year of Emergency Department or EMS experience


Preferred

+ Associate of Applied Science: Paramedicine

+ Montana Critical Care Paramedic License
