Elk Valley Emergency Management Leader

Be the driving force in emergency preparedness at Elk Valley Resources as an Emergency Management Coordinator. This role focuses on enhancing safety protocols and leading mine rescue operations.
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Health & Safety, you'll manage the site's emergency management program and provide mentorship on health and safety. Your position includes the development of pre-emergency plans, conducting audits, and maintaining emergency preparedness documentation. You will also coordinate training for rescue teams and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee emergency response management and training programs
• Maintain records utilizing D4H for response actions
• Audit emergency response equipment compliance
• Provide expertise in risk management to regulatory agencies
• Support and develop avalanche management plans
