ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, NAVAL AIR STATION OF OCEANA of NAS OCEANA. Responsibilities You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, analyzing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, modifying, adjusting, diagnosing, and running electronic systems to insure continuous, accurate and reliable operation. You will lead micro-miniature module test and repair (2M/MTR) technician. You will maintain all divisional supply records and plant/minor property custody records. You will diagnose, isolate and correct malfunctions in on-line as well as standby systems with safe operation of the military and National Airspace System. You will draw schematic diagrams of existing and future electronic facilities for record purposes in order to facilitate their economical and efficient repair.
