Vertex is seeking **Electronics Technicians Maintenance I** to perform radar transmitter duties on the Cobra Dane radar system located at Shemya, Alaska. This position is a remote assignment in Shemya, Alaska with a rotation of approximately 8 weeks on island and 5 weeks off island.
The candidate will be required to apply basis and some advanced technical knowledge to solve transmitter problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals, USAF Technical Orders, local operating instructions, and similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgement in planning work sequences, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This position works under the supervision of the Site Manager and receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
