Job Description

Job Summary


The Electronics Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of electronic systems within Anchorage School District facilities. The location of the workstation is subject to contract language concerning shift location/bids. Maintenance employees work a 4/10 schedule with weekends and holidays off. The Anchorage School District offers paid leave and a very competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA and life insurance. This position has a retirement association with the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS).

Job Requirements
The following are required:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment in a GED program.
  • A minimum of four years of experience within the past six years in the field of electronics maintenance and repair. Work experience must evidence ability to perform tasks assigned.
