Electrician

General Description

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Electrician will work as a part of the maintenance team to operate, repair, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment and maintain resort facilities in a quick, efficient, and professional manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a general maintenance environment
• Previous preventative maintenance program experience an asset
• Previous experience in a hotel environment an asset
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship
• Experience working as an electrician
• Ability to read blueprints
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
