About the Role

Reporting to the Public Works Supervisor, the Electrician performs skilled electrical work involving installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrading of electrical systems across District facilities, buildings, pump stations, and critical municipal infrastructure.

This position involves independent work, collaboration with other trades, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Work may be completed indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions, and at heights or confined spaces.

What you bring

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
• Class A FSR or willing to obtain with the following
  • Valid BC or Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician Trade Certification.
