The primary purpose of this position is to lead a variety of journeyman trades/craftsmen and install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain various systems, structural components and building systems. Responsibilities - Works with and leads a group of 5 to 8 military and civilian carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and painters. Provides instruction on the job to be done; starts job and works with employees, setting work pace and demonstrating methods as appropriate. - Installs, repairs or replaces, and modifies existing systems, fixtures, and panels located in and near installation buildings and structures. - Troubleshoots problem areas and inspects for defective equipment and faulty system or structure. - Uses and maintains various types of hand and/or power tools, such as hammers, paint brushes, screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, grinder/s...
