Electrician Lead

Purpose and Scope:

Installs, modifies, repairs, maintains, troubleshoots loads and tests new and installed equipment including secondary distribution lines and circuits used to supply distribution panels, high intensity lighting systems, motor controls, switchboards, power and control circuits, electrical intrusion alarm wiring, and cathodic protection systems. Working from, and on occasion developing building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and determines the routing placement, type, size, gauge, balance load, continuity, and safe operation of electrical lines, circuits, systems, equipment, and controls. Skilled in sizing, planning and installing cable trays, buss ducts, conduit, and non-metallic sheathed cables making electrical connections by splicing and/or other methods.
