Electrician - Journeyman

Solar Gaines is growing!  We currently need licensed journeyman electricians to complete the electrical work on multiple prevailing wage projects throughout the Delaware/Maryland area.  You will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical controls, and wiring, working from a technical blueprint.

To perform in this role, you need experience in the field working on simple and complex electrical systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation of code-compliant electrical work on solar projects Install wiring, conduit, enclosures, switchgear, main service replacements, sub-panels, and transformers.


• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
