Electrical Test Engineer

Electrical Test Engineer – Power Generation

West Midlands based with UK wide travel including stay‑aways. Salary 45,000 – 55,000 GBP + overtime opportunities, company vehicle and industry training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct protection testing of generators, substations, and transformers at UK, European and US sites.
• Complete documentation and support electrical design development.
• Travel to sites and perform site‑based testing, while carrying out office‑based tasks (60:40 site‑to‑office split).

Qualifications

• HND/HNC in Power sector or equivalent.
• Experience in testing of switchgears, transformers and substations.
• Working knowledge of 3‑phase power systems.
• Ability and willingness to travel UK wide and remain on stay‑aways.
