The A1B Instrumentation and Control Protection Systems (IPS) unit at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is looking for an experienced engineer excited to take on the challenges associated with supporting the GERALD R. FORD class of aircraft carriers. The IPS unit, along with the PCI unit, focuses on the design, integration, testing, deployment, and support of electrical I&C systems for the FORD class. This position involves direct interaction with the Navy, shipyards, vendors, and customers. This is an excellent opportunity to work with mission-critical shipboard electrical systems and to make a significant impact on the technology that protects our country. The selected candidate will be expected to become a subject matter expert on the design, operation, and maintenance of their assigned system.
