Electrical Engineer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and adhere to Engineering procedures to support compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 standards
• Commission new equipment, including training of key staff
• Co-ordinate repair and/or replacement of faulty electrical equipment
• Will partake in the Duty Engineer Rota system
• Troubleshoot equipment failures to identify root cause of any issue and implement lasting corrective actions
• Support site CI activities related to H&S, quality and efficiency
• Enhance project engineering especially focusing on design, cost evaluation, liaison with machine builders and suppliers, planning, project control and commissioning
• Provide technical support in the area of ongoing cost management and corporate projects to reduce fixed and variable costs
• Ensure adequate spares coverage, at all times, for key equipment.
