Electrical Design Engineer

This is a hybrid role with regular site presence in Bristol, so candidates must be within commutable distance or open to supported relocation. This role supports the design and documentation of critical nuclear security systems. The position focuses on producing and maintaining system design manuals for complex integrated systems. Your future team supports commissioning readiness and system documentation across the wider project.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain detailed System Design Manuals for nuclear security systems
• Develop system descriptions, component sizing, diagrams and technical documentation
• Define instrumentation and control functional requirements aligned with safety inputs
• Apply EPR engineering rules when defining I&C platform allocations and logic
• Coordinate with layout, CAD and building teams to integrate system designs
