Description JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Winder Job Code: HRJD - 004 Department: Motor Shop FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-exempt Supervisor: Shop Supervisor GENERAL SUMMARY Duties will include data collection and rewinding of AC / DC electric motors, generators, armatures, rotors, transformers, yoders, magnet and brake coils and related electrical components. Brazing, soldering and welding of copper, aluminum, steel, etc. will be required. Employee will be expected to verify applicable rewinds by core loss, hi pot, phase balance, rotational direction, meg-ohm etc. testing. All pre and post testing shall be correctly documented. Will assist other departments with skilled or non skilled duties as directed by the Supervisor or Manager. Will be responsible and accountable for following all safety policies and safety related practices.
