Job Description

An Advanced Manufacturing role embedded within UPE to own EH&S from concept through SOP for all new propulsion line launches. Operates upstream of plant EH&S — driving safety-by-design, chemical compliance, ergonomic integration, and launch readiness — and serves as the primary EH&S interface between UPE launch teams, plant EH&S, and corporate functions. Ensures EH&S is designed in before handoff to plant operations and tracks safety and ergonomic milestones from Planning through Production.

Key Responsibilities:
Launch Safety & Design Phase Risk

Lead SFMEA, ergonomic assessments, and risk-matrix reviews; embed EH&S specifications, guarding requirements, and regulatory standards into equipment designs and line layouts before equipment is ordered

Represent EH&S in EEM reviews; build EH&S actions into milestone gate checklists and verify closure prior to SOP
