EHS Specialist

**Description**
**What you will do**
+ Foster a safe work environment and lead by example, adhering to and enforcing all safety and regulatory procedures. Promptly acting on unsafe situations.
+ Immediately report potential food safety or product quality issues to the management staff or shift supervisor.
+ At least 70% of time is spent in the production environment supporting a variety of EHS activities which can including:
+ Managing employee's safety concerns
+ Workplace Inspections
+ Risk Assessments – New and Updating
+ Safety Walks with different teams and Plant Leadership
+ Contractor Inspections
+ Programmed Safety Focused Audits
+ Management of Change (Machines, work areas, etc.)
+ Updating safety communications and contractor safety boards
+ Perform weekly inspections of Hazardous Waste Storage Areas
+ Perform Stormwater Inspections
+ Sign Waste Manifests
+ Perform environmental/DOT training
+ Prepare and submit required repo...
