EHS Specialist

Overview

Bio-Rad is looking for a hands-on EHS Specialist to be the primary EHS resource at our Cressier manufacturing site (~300 employees), operating in a regulated Medical Devices environment. You will work with autonomy on the ground while being functionally supported by the EMEA EHS Manager. This is a site-facing role. You will be visible on the floor, trusted by operations, and capable of owning the full EHS scope.

Responsibilities

• Occupational Health & Safety: Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections across production, QC, logistics, and engineering areas; investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to closure; manage the occupational health programme in coordination with SUVA and relevant cantonal authorities.
