EH&S Engineer (Temporary, 6 months)

Position Overview

EH&S Engineer (Temporary, 6 months) – located in Juarez, North Site. Reporting to the EHS Manager, the role focuses on maintaining and improving safety and environmental compliance across the site.

Responsibilities

• Consult with all departments on equipment design and safety programs.
• Review plans and specifications for new machinery to confirm safety requirements.
• Conduct site tours to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities, identifying hazards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Define requirements for safety clothing and devices; design, build, install, or oversee installation of safety devices on machinery.
• Conduct or coordinate safety training and educate workers on emergency procedures, safety policies, laws and practices.
• Investigate industrial accidents, minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports.
