Remote is not an option; site visits to schools required each week.

Experience

Proven experience working in a coordinator role within a local authority is essential.

• Strong familiarity with SEND Code of Practice
• Strong familiarity with Children and Families Act
• Strong familiarity with relevant education regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal training, demonstrating immediate understanding of statutory processes and deadlines

Technical Skills & Responsibilities

• Experience conducting EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) assessments
• Experience conducting annual reviews
• Understanding of core local authority SEND processes
• No specific system knowledge required, but candidates must demonstrate comfort navigating LA procedures
