Education Specialist

**Description**

The Leidos Intel Sector is seeking an experienced and highly capable Education Specialist in Northern, VA to support a multidisciplinary team executing an evolving and dynamic occupational health and wellness mission.

Primary Responsibilities

+ Conduct comprehensive reviews of all education-related documentation submitted on behalf of dependent children, including but not limited to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 Plans, reports from related service providers, and psychoeducational evaluation reports.
+ Conduct case reviews utilizing various medical databases.
+ Apply relevant subject matter expertise to conduct case reviews and to provide Special Needs Education Allowance (SNEA) eligibility recommendations to stakeholders.
+ Provide briefings on education-related topics to a variety of audiences, including family members.
