We are currently recruiting a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Whitworth from September. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in a nurturing and highly supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties throughout the school day
• Assist with personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Support students with communication, sensory and physical development
• Work alongside teachers, therapists and support staff to deliver high‑quality care and education
• Promote student engagement, independence and wellbeing
• Provide personal care where required
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
